The Ennui Urban Glove offers similar hand protection as a wristguard. What differs is aesthetic and functionality.
The leather looks iconic and is authentic ventilated leather, so not vegan friendly. The anatomical plastic split is the same as the ST wrist guard and offers protection of the palms. The splint is supported by the wrist velcro strap making the glove feel secure. EVA inserts shield the knuckles on impact. The fingerless design means users can still access electronics with ease.
Overall the gloves feel safe and look dance floor ready. Well suited for all types of skating, with a leaning towards casual/recreation. The distinct advantages over a wrist guard are that the hand is more protected against scratches and abrasions, and there are fewer limitations to hand mobility.
